Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 17, 2009 -- Wynter Robinson is causing a commotion while making some major moves. With a contact list and resume that reads like a seasoned vets' you would find it hard to believe that all this was accomplished by a woman so young. While most of her friends spend their days and nights on the phone, partying, and shopping, Wynter is glued to a computer sending out press releases, e-vites, and calling editors. "I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything because this is what I love to do." explains Wynter.
If you were one to judge off of first impressions alone then you would probably assume she was a model and not a publicist or viral marketing director, in which you wouldn't be completely wrong. Modeling is what got Wynter into the industry and contributed to her amazing contact list. " I looked at modeling as a stepping stone and a way to network, and not as a career!" It was only after Wynter felt like she had built enough contacts and taken classes in public relations at Georgia State University did Wynter leave modeling and never looked back. It Girls Inc. was born June,6,2004, with a staff that consisted of Wynter, her assistant and 3 girls from school. Wynter had no idea that her boutique style public relations, and promotions company would garner so much attention and interest.
A major portion of Wynter success has been contributed to her intelligence and her infectious personality. Wynter has worked with BME RECORDING, Hezeleo (UGK Records), Extreme Entertainment (Crack Heads Gone Wild), Cherie Johnson (Punky Brewster, Family Matters, The Parkers), Spring (HOT NEW R&B Singer), and many more. This one is definitely picking up signals on the industry's radar. All this accomplished before 25!
"WYNTER SPEAKS"
I've really been doing this all my life. Its my family business!! My father name garners a lot of respect and admiration in Atlanta because of his work ethic, the way he handles business, and the way he treats people. Honestly I didn't choose this, my dad made me a promoter under his club and company as soon as I got my drivers license. I learned a lot first hand working with my family at "THE WHEREHOUSE" nightclub on marietta st. I also met a lot of people who later became very big and influential people in this industry. If I wanted to I could have taken my place somewhere underneath my father but that is not me. I am not the one to ride any one's coat tails. I decided that I wanted to build my own name and my own brand. So at 18 the summer I left for college I hired all my model friends, and friends from high-school and started my own promo company titled "Atlanta it Girlz' the first company to hire me was BME recordings. After that my company, my brand, my name just sky rocketed and that is a lot of responsibility for a 18 yr old.
I was so driven then, I remember one incident when me and my assistant, drove to purple ribbon and just walk through the door like we were suppose to be there! As I was entering the lobby Killer Mike and Big Boi were leaving out, I walked right up to them and handed them a pamphlet I'd made as home on my computer. I was so bold. They actually reviewed it on spot and said we shooting a movie tomorrow would you and your girls like to be in it, I was Yeaaah! It didn't even matter that the next day was my BIRTHDAY AND I would be there for like 27 hours!!1
Later that year I put "ATLANTA IT GIRLS" down to finish getting my education. A lot of my friends in the industry were not happy. I chalked that up to them not knowing I was only 18 I told everyone i was 20, I felt that would be best dealing with the sums of money these people were paying me. I got my Public Relations certification and went on to work with several companies, restaurant, and Artist in Atlanta.
It was a year ago, that I realized that even the most unique pr tactics aren't really pursuing the consumers and target markets like they once did. So I decided to research and investigate how to get my clients the most effective results for their money. Within my search I stumbled upon the word "VIRAL MARKETING" and I realized it was what I had been doing all alone, but it was strictly Internet based. I decided then if anyone was going to corner that market and become an expert on it, it would be me.
I spent months doing case studies and observing other highly successful viral marketing campaigns until I felt like I had what I needed to push forward.
Viral Marketing is perfect for my clients, because unfortunately the way the industry going now, there aren't a lot of big budgets anymore, but you still need the same gears in order for the Star, Fame, Celebrity machine to work.
"I feel like I bring something different to a industry that seems so cook cutter, (everyone cut from the same mold), I am different and very unique, so nothing that i do could every be ordinary"
