(ADVICE) PUBLIC BREAKUPS?

| |

Its no secret that within  the entertainment industry there are couples just as there would be in any other work environment. Just like there are couple there are also breakups. In the real world breakups are not a matter of PR in the entertainment industry they are a priority for a PR professional.

My advice: If a nasty public breakup can be avoided, at all cost avoid it. Bad breakup in the long run doesn't help either parties career. For example lets say a known singer was dating a known athlete, you would be insane not to believe her sudden increase in record sales, or the sudden rise in number of fans at the game didn't have anything to do with each other. I call it fan marriage, when you take that person as a partner their fans build they same love an admiration they have for them for you. In a nasty breakup where there are verbal assaults and assassinations in the media, you lose the fans you gained in the partnership and some of your own, because with bitterness you start deducting from your role model points.

Keep it private and Keep it moving.
